Betty Hageman worked with the City of  Redmond Planning and Community Development Environment Team to develop a creative design concept for this suite of public outreach materials. With no program brand identity in existence, the City wanted to introduce this program (Walk, Bike, Carpool and Bus to School!) proactively addressing community concerns, reduce traffic and achieve maximum participation by local schools, students and their families, and neighborhood residents.
After careful discussion, Betty recommended an appropriate visual tone and style for the project, and designed a new logo based on the intended target audiences and their interests. She researched and selected a package of online stock illustrations for purchase, and reworked them extensively to convey SchoolPool’s unique message.
