King County’s Department of Community and Human Services won a 2919 national Clarion Award for Public Relations–Annual Report from the Association of Women in Communication (AWC) for this MIDD (Mental Illness and Drug Dependency) annual report. It comprises King County’s programs and services that help people living with or at risk of behavioral health conditions to be healthy, have satisfying social relationships, and avoid criminal justice involvement. Betty Hageman was involved from the beginning of the report production service, providing creative concept, photo selection and editing, interpretive infographics, design and page layout.
